The Sky Is Yours

Why normalize things and not abnormalize them? why everything needs to be done according to predefined steps, like in a certain way as it should be. Whose rules are we following to live our lives? Just like we didn't realize how precious our childhood was while we were living it, we aren't realizing that we have fucking one life jiska koi fixed endpoint nhi hai toh atleast you can live as you want to and as your inner voice tells you to, for a change. I read somewhere that when we were kids we used to color outside the lines, recklessly with whichever color we liked. pink skies, blue trees, orange water green camels. We didn't bother ourselves to find what the actual color is and that is so true as we grow old they tell us to use only those colors which are actually used, they ask us to imitate them just like they are found. Have u ever thought about it?

I really feel just like everyone's life is different and hence there cannot be one pattern to live it. Each one of us can pick our color for the sky, our own definitions of our paths, and our ways to deal with life. HUM JAISE DEKHE YEH JAHAN HAI WAISA HI, JAISI NAZAR APNI . I could have easily avoided this cringe part but then I did not. Maybe your sky is pink not because it's blushing when the sun flirts but because that's the love you have for it, maybe your sky is yellow because that's comforting to you. It can be green because you are a nature's person. Just like I hate red, my color of love is mauve. And black is not negative for me it reflects elegance. But that won't change the fact that the sky is blue, love is red and white stands for peace. The object and the situation remain the same but your vision and how you take it can totally differ. I am not saying to go around and convince people why u feel your sky is different, no I want you to be aware of the fact that it can be different just for you and there's no problem with it. And who says the sky is the limit when you can step on the moon. yeah until nobody did we thought nobody can but that's our chance to show our x-factor and fir sabse kehna copy that.

Similarly, while growing up, many of us are told to color within the lines and act in a socially accepted manner. But what society expects from you is not always the best for you. They ask you to behave in a certain manner and respond in a certain way. they try to mold us like a lump of clay. they force you to see things how they actually are and not what you want them or like them to be. Whatever we do or create why can't it be outside the lines? Society is full of hypocritical people who make rules acc to their own convenience and then force it on others till the time they think it is right. They say na ki learn the rules like a pro so you can break them like an artist. We are all artists and our life is a canvas, god left it blank so that we can paint it in our own unique way. If you allow someone else to choose the colors for you, you will end up having a canvas similar to theirs, which is boring. so paint outside the lines and who knows it turns out to be a masterpiece. It requires a hell lot of courage to go against the grain and choose a different path from the crowd but the outcome is definitely worth thriving for. And good people don't make history, bold and brave people do, nowadays that's one of my favorite lines btw, I heard Priyanka Chopra saying it.

What if I was not told to categorize things as good or bad and was left to decide on my own what's good for me and what's not? I mean it's so unfair, that there are punishments only for crime and not for hurting someone, had they given me chance then all the people on my hate list would have been behind the bars and would not be roaming around bothering me, jk. Btw there's always some truth behind every just kidding, no no just letting you know. On a serious note, when we label something as good or bad, we're essentially putting it in a box and saying it fits a certain criteria that we've determined and we are not willing to see it in any other way. for eg if you have heard that a particular food is bad for you and you immediately decide to cut it off because someone else thinks that way will be considered foolish. However, if you take time to research it then you might discover that it actually has some benefits for your body type. This doesn't mean that things aren't objectively good or bad. Suicide is a universally unaccepted thing there is no way that it can favor one and not the other.

Just try to see life through a different lens, then maybe you can discover new insights. That way, instead of having just one color in our box of crayons, maybe we can choose more than one. Aap log convince hogye yaa mei aur bolu?

When the sky is pink it's a reminder that anything is possible if we allow ourselves to dream. The sky is yellow when we allow ourselves to see the beauty in the unexpected, the sky is green because it's a reflection of the magic within us that we often forget to acknowledge, the sky is purple when we choose to see the world through a lens of hope and optimism. There’s no one-size-fits-all formula for living life so break free from all that oppression and take off your shackles, the sky is yours.

Keep loving yourself kyunki tum sab bhaukal ho meri jaan.
