Beyond Red and Green Lights

We're all familiar with the traffic rules we learned back in primary school, right? And for those who might need a quick refresher, let me break it down for you.

Red light, red light, what do you show?

I say, pause till time gives us the go.

Green light green light what's your command?

Hurry, rush no need to withstand

Yellow light yellow light what's your view?

This is the moment to make your debut

Okay, okay, let's hop into the 'Why on Earth did I just fiddle with those lines?' moment! So, we often keep on waiting for that one special day or that one perfect moment to come all our lives and save things for that day to make it extra special, we keep on dreaming about that and prepare ourselves to make it a blast.

I read somewhere that so many people don't wear their favorite dress because they are saving it for a special day, or don't use their favorite perfume because they are saving it for a special evening.  We do this with so many things, save them for a special occasion, and then all of a sudden it's been 2 years and your perfume doesn't smell as good and the dress no longer fits, or your fashion style changes maybe. And just like that what you hoped would be an explosion of joy became an unexpected blast of shattered dreams.

You can always get a new perfume or a new dress but that moment no, u just can't. In the blink of an eye, life zooms past you while you're waiting for that special day, only to realize that every day is special - it's like the universe telling you, 'Hey, I've been throwing keys at you daily, did you not notice? Who knows if we'll ever get to recreate that same planned day or vibe? Life's unpredictability is a bit like us humans trying to follow a GPS in a maze – you might just end up in Narnia dude!

This is the red light I am talking about, that we are just stuck in the same spot with no growth hoping one day some magical thing will do exactly what we planned. And as they say your happily ever after can start right now it does not always need to be at the end of a movie.

"Ah, now let's talk about that green light, the absolute favorite of all drivers and racers out there. But hold your horses, or should I say, hold your engines, because this is where I confess something truly extraordinary – I'm not a fan of the green light. And before you start thinking let me tell you I'm a terrible driver with a lazy ass. Driving toh apun se na hopayega baba...

Let's cut to the chase, The green light screams hurry hurry, and worry worry. So, hold on to your steering wheels tight because this is where we are not going right.

In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the relentless pursuit of success, we often rush for things that require a sense of patience, and understanding. We are so much into the rat race just sprinting for the cheese. We follow a standard script: school, college, job, all in the name of chasing that elusive cheese. Why choose the same order to live? And before you even know it, you're lying on a hospital bed, wondering, 'What on earth was I rushing for all these years?' It's almost like life's been playing a cosmic prank on us, turning our hustle into a hasty shuffle. So, folks, maybe it's time to switch gears and enjoy the scenic route once in a while. After all, life's too short to sprint through without savoring the moments!

We eat desserts with small spoons for a reason . Let life be your desert take it one little spoon at a time. Please don't rush. I know it looks tempting at first but if you gobble up it won't taste the same.

The traffic lights, believe it or not, offers us some valuable life lessons. And when it comes to life's grand intersection, it's the yellow light that truly shines. It's that pivotal point where we must decide whether to hesitate in fear or seize the opportunity to move forward. It's not about waiting endlessly or racing blindly; it's about finding that sweet spot, to kickstart your journey. So, buckle up, because my podcast is all about navigating life's twists and turns, one traffic light at a time!🚦✨🎙️

As they say in that Bollywood movie that zindagi lambi ni badi honi chaiye, and for that to happen you gotta watch the lights carefully not only while driving your car but also while driving your life.

And and and  I want to extend my heartfelt apologies for making you wait for this podcast. And, of course, a huge shoutout to all of you amazing folks who took the time to drop me messages on Instagram. Your support means the world to me! kyunki tum sab na bhaukal ho meri jaan.
