Finding Clarity in Chaos
Dear Gentle Listeners! You’re tuned into Manya Mingle, and let me just declare it from the start—tum sab na, bhaukaal ho, meri jaan!
I feel like my audience deserves something fresh, right? So, guess what? This season, we’re keeping it fun—less gyaan, more masti!
Okay ab everybody muskurayie aap manya mingle ke podcast mei hoo. So a few days back I watched 'Follow Karlo Yaar' yes yess whi Urfi wla show on Amazon Prime. Jisko every person demeans and uskie comment section ko bhardte hai fir bhi dekhte jaakr ussi ko hai. I am proud of that girl bhyiii. She is so clear-headed, extremely self aware. And she knows what she wants and for that what she has to do ab agr kisime itni clarity hainaa to usse jalna to bnta hai duniya wlo ka. For Indian society, she is the shocking element and I am not saying ki uske jaise kro and usne kya kiya the point is ki usse pta tha ki usee kya krna hai.
Not everyone has it all figured out; most of us are just testing the waters, seeing what works and what doesn't. Like Aashayein khule dil ke umeede hase dil ki, ab mushkil nahi kuch bhi nhi kuch bhi, woo bathroom singer. Trying something new doesn’t mean you’re not serious. So, if you’re feeling uncertain, remember it’s okay to explore. We haven’t all tried enough options to find that one thing that truly clicks. Take me for that matter, there were times I made decisions just like a sheep in the herd, following along without really thinking it through.
I once heard this line in a song, "not all who wander are lost." Honestly, clarity is rare—bahut hi kam log hote hain jinko bachpan se apna goal pata hota hai, ya phir jinke parents unhe kisi ek field mein daal dete hain, and then they just keep going with it. But since we’re talking about this, I’m definitely not from that breed. I genuinely didn’t know what I wanted to do. I was a bright student in school, and my parents did an amazing job raising me—they encouraged me to try everything: dancing, theatre, abacus, singing, guitar, sketching, skating... you name it! Well, except for swimming, because chlorine darkens the skin, and my mom is a skincare fanatic.
So when it came to choosing a stream, I picked Non-Medical—not because I was set on becoming an engineer, but because it offered flexibility. I could easily switch to Commerce or Humanities if I changed my mind later. Basically, it was the "beech ka beechu" for me—the one who’s part of both teams while playing a game, if you know what I mean.
To everyone on the outside, it always looked like I was super career-oriented. People would shower me with praise and all that, but deep down, honestly, I had no clue what I was diving into! I am the one jisko decisions lene mei itni problem hoti hai. Ab yeh podcast koi HR na sune warna they might think twice before hiring me: “Oh, so she’s not a decision-maker!” Just to set the record straight: I am talking about my personal life decisions, I might struggle there, but it’s not like I’ll own the company, right? But don’t worry, one day we’ll definitely own the company too! For now, I’ll manage just fine with work decisions.
It’s funny, isn’t it? Yeh bilkul whi waali baat ho gayi where you’re doubting yourself, while everyone else thinks you’re just breezing through it all, effortlessly holding it together. Speaking of this, it reminded me of a recent incident at my gym. So, there was this girl around my age, and we started chatting one day. She told me that the first time she saw me, she actually liked me and she praised my body. According to her, it's just perfect and that I don’t even need the gym. Though I didn't show, but it madee me happy duduee, girls praising girl's that compliment just elevates your soul, meri na atma bahar nikl ke naach rhi thi, Ab, don't judge me, but yes, I do get a little too happy over compliments! So, consider this a reminder—feel free to drop a compliment my way.
Chlo ab mujhe fir compliments sunke cloud nine pr jaane do because according to my mother sb logo ne mujhe waise chadha rkhaa hai like maa da ladla bigad gyaa, and I am no great that's what mothers are skilled at they always know how to put you in your rightful place! Haha!
Alright, folks, thanks for tuning in! Keep shining, keep smiling, and don’t forget to spread some compliments—it’s the secret ingredient to happiness! Catch you next time, and until then, tum sab na, bhaukaal ho, meri jaan!
